Curriculum Vitae

As a specialized computer draftman / designer, I work either in raster or vector format, comprising different areas such as graphic / web / communication design, photography, technical drawing or 3D modeling and some animation. Interpreting customer data, briefing and needs is a constant analysis activity, which takes into account customer satisfaction, form / function and quality for the final product.

I design/compose posters, brochures, leaflets, stationary (corporate image, stationery, etc.), blueprint layouts, web design/content management and consulting in the field, book covers, pagination, etc....

Most of the work related to technical drawing and 3D modeling are in the field of civil engineering, with the design and calculation of excavation plants, dams and various landfills or 3D modeling and rendering of bridges and viaducts, among many other projects. I also use these tools to design and project electric guitar, their circuits or for regular or rigorous geometric drafts / illustrations.

Working in corporations has thought me many things about human relations. Respect comes always first, respect my peers, respect the corporation and respect the project in hand. Focus is a must, always. Team work comes as a consequence of these previous concepts, there cannot be team work without respect or focus. Then comes hygiene (personal is obvious), work hygiene is trying to keep things/files clean and organized. It feeds on method and investigation and is responsible for allowing anyone to pick the files and continue / correct / alter the work as if one started with it from the beginning. Work hygiene may seam to take too much time at first, but in the end, it saves lots of headaches if things go south. Data management is present on all projects, many with huge sizes, so it must be organized in order to optimize the workflow... and that's also where data management comes into play.

Everything in a working environmet is part of human relations, no matter how one feels one day, kindness must always shine through.
